I read the mail-abuse.org "how to get into RBL" page and didn't see anything that suggests turning confirms off would do it. In fact, I don't see how it would help spammers, although I can see how it is/was used by pranksters, but that's different. I suppose a spammer could subscribe their 100,000 victims to the list and then post a message full of spam to the list, thus getting it delivered.
