With regards to the last edition my comments and views are as follows

*How can we expect our culture to grow when we have such problems existing
in our society,***

*First, we do not trust ourselves

*Wrong! we do... but issue is that only few percentage! *

*What ever points I have stressed does not refer to all Pakistanis

*Second, we do not promote homemade stuff 'coz we're very much influenced by
foreign

*Correct! thats not because we dont love it but because we are lack of
Quality conscious people* and the product of pakistan in general did not
provide its ROI.

*Thirdly, do we all know our National Anthem correctly and complete? I doubt

*Yes! We all knew its by heart... the real issue is that we forget its
MEANING!!*

*What ever points I have stressed does not refer to all Pakistanis

*Fourth, did we study Pakistan's history whole-heartedly?

*of course... but define what is Whole-heartedly in your dictionary?*

*Fifth, on questioning not only the youth of Pakistan but few adults also
failed to answer the question "Significance of 23rd March and in which year
was it?

*what! so this means that we are lack of culture??? and if few "smarty" do
not know that does this means that we lost our culture?? O please!! some one
please pinch me I am in comma!*

*What ever points I have stressed does not refer to all Pakistanis

*Sixth, we want all our works to be done by the government, we don't like to
take pain 'coz we enjoy gain.

*we actually use to of it... and if few of "mad" people like Hakim M Saeed
try to do they have been given a royal death on street and if not so we
still love to shout.. JJEEEAAAYYY....name any bull shit .. this again does
not have any connection with culture!*

*What ever points I have stressed does not refer to all Pakistanis

*Seventh, we do not want people to know that we are Pakistanis when we are
in foreign countries (I was an example of this statement but now
Alhamdulilah I take pride in being a Pakistani)

*You must have met with ABCDs (American Born Confuse Desis) or either some
one who were on exile..let em share this, I have met with guy and
opportunity to have his company for a short time years' back in Duabi when
he refuse to a Job in top Bank and quit when he came to know that within
their policy they mention that no loans will be given to Pakistani
nationals, as a protest while India were there

he was from Gujranwala and were living there hand-to-mouth not able to
support his family. The offer from bank was lucrative but let me share this
madam there are Pakistanis who do not sell their mother in $ 20,000 *
*
Do not call it stupidity call it a Gut and confidence in one's skill and
knowledge .. this guy is in Barclays now! *

This madam is also not among those who will sell her mother for

 $ 20, 000

*Eighth, do we respect Urdu, I think now we have mixed Hindi in it 'coz we
love Indian dramas and Bollywood.

*what are you talking about ?? change your thinking and do not show
"Saas-Bahoo" epics to your childern .. dont you have a remote to change the
channel ? ...this is still not related to culture yet its close to it due to
few other reasons..*

*Ninth, we love Pakistan only on 14th of August

*Read about Sepoy Maqbool Hussain... Read about Pakistani born French
Designer I am forgetting his name ... he also wrote his book of struggle..
read about people who take part in Development... one of my close uncle is
the Nuclear Scientist in KANUP I use to join his convel and always get
inspiration...there are so many others... haven't you met Faisal Qureshi
yet? he is Pakistani too... O please do not think to meet me you may be
disappointed and believe me this is still not the part of Culture!*

*Tenth, do we realize the sacrifices of our past? I think no because if we
did then our country could have been better until this day.

*Its a nature, most people call it a fact... man never learns from
history...but those who did can be most successful and prosperous in all the
walks of life .. you must mention some "cultural" mistakes here*

*What ever points I have stressed does not refer to all Pakistanis

Did we know Mr. Mohammad Ali Jinnah by his clothes and hairstyle?

Did we know Mr. Allama Iqbal by his clothes and hairstyle?

These two prominent figures made a mark in the history not by clothing well
and introducing new hairstyles but it was their hard work which brought them
to fame.

Then why do we blame the celebrities about their way of clothing…If we blame
them, then first we should turn the pointing finger's direction towards
ourselves because if they are stylizing themselves with western styles, then
we are also copying it… what will you say to this!!!

*Till this point I am lost... you are comparing cycle tires with the 707 Air
Bus...*
How can we expect our culture to grow when we have such problems existing
in our society,

If we love & respect our Culture then it is obvious that others will like it
too…

*What ever points I have stressed does not refer to all Pakistanis

do not offend... but well...see... we have double culture in our system...we
are intruded by so many other cultures as well. Its a fact that developing
and poor nations adopt and follow fashion and culture of Developed and
richer countries. Even in our history when Muslims were in Power and rule
the planet and when Europe were in Dark ages they use to wear cloths that
has been wear by common man in Turkey and Baghdad as these were the today
Paris and London...

for developing a culture ... develop your self... and I assure you culture
will follow its way :)

hope you don't mind my straightness but honorable lady thats the way it is!

No hard feelings brother, actually u don't know my story … what I wanted to
stress was not completely based on culture...I want to meet you because I
think u will be disappointed meeting me

Regards,

Shamsa Baloch

Pakistani Madam not Dubai wali
