This is interesting Dana, because I seem to recall that at the convention that the board had voted on the platform before the general membership voted on the new board and some by-law changes. I could be recollection incorrectly (not unusual for me).

While I have never seen a state platform paper from  the LPCO, and Steve seems to think that one does not exist – is it true? Or is it more likely that there is a rough draft squirreled away somewhere that has been reviewed and changed but never examined in the light of day by other than the board.

How about it James? You are the resident sub-committee fellow that should know this stuff. Or maybe David, who I am told worked on this before?

Yes, John I was under the impression that the by-laws committee & platform committee were elected every year & they worked on the by laws & platform every year.

That is what should be happening. These committees are the legs & arms of the orginization also.
