  Indeed it is.

  I do trust the LPI people, but I do not know anybody from Pearson,
which is an organization that is not built on the same ethical (or
philosophical, if you prefer) grounds as LPI, and I cannot extend the
trust I put into LPI to third parties automatically.

  When the "standard boilerplate" ask for more leeway than is
technically necessary I am more than skeptical about the true reasons
behind it.
