If you take the exams through CompTia, you will get a CompTia Linux+ certification. You can then ask LPI to also give you a LPI equivalent (which is LPIC-1). And after you get LPIC-1, you can ask Novell to give you the CLA certification. If you get LPIC-1 by taking the LPIC-1 exams (101 and 102) through Vue testing centers or LPI Partner centers, you just get the LPIC-1 certification. But based on that you can apply for the Novell CLA (you miss out on the Linux+ one). Not 100% sure of the process of getting that done, but it should be something like that. Honestly, I am just happy with the LPIC-1. I think it's the only one that actually matters (to me at least). _______________________________________________ lpi-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://list.lpi.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/lpi-discuss
