Have you looked at the 'cost' that Cisco pays Prometric/Vue to develop and implement those 'emulated' terminals? ;) BTW, I hope everyone recognizes even Microsoft went down this avenue. Attempt #1: 83 series - SuSE Linux-based VNC and Samba-NTLM authentication -- massive connectivity issues at Prometric/Vue testing sites (non-reliable connectivity**) Attempt #2: 'Master/Architect' program - On-site in Redmond, very costly ($15K+), shut down with 30 days several years back for no reason, 'stranding' a lot of students who paid a lot of money.** - bjs **P.S. I have exposure to both. I took 83-640 and had multiple 'disconnects,' and lost 40 minutes of the time on the exam. Still passed though. I also tried to apply to the Masters program after multiple offers, but working for Red Hat instead of a Microsoft partner, it was not 'politically tennable' (prior to 2015), and they shut down the program before I was out more than 3 figures (some were out 5). -- Bryan J Smith - http://www.linkedin.com/in/bjsmith E-mail: b.j.smith at ieee.org or me at bjsmith.me
