My first point is that nslookup is a command you'll find in pretty much
every Linux distro and a competent Linux administrator ought to know it -
as well as dig.

The second point I've been dragged into making is that LPI certification is
not the place for anti-Microsoft polemic; particularly when dealing with
subsystems like Samba whose major function is to interoperate with Windows
and which many LPI certs will have to deal with. If we *have* to mention
the W-word, let's just do it, without lots of theatrical gagging and
retching, huh?
