I agree that the LPI2 is directed to Linux certification, and what
Windows has is of no
consequence. However, I think that if you surveyed most of the admins
out there
today, they will still be using nslookup instead of host as a command.
The nslookup
command is still a valid command under Bind 9, it isnt a symlink yet :-)
I would suggest that some form of testing on nslookup be included, even
if its to
validate that they know its going to be done away with by the host
command.
