Look, the point i believe that was trying to be made was, this is a
linux professional certification and to that point we need to keep it on
track and not play these games in regards to windows....lets get on with
the job at hand that needs completed....

i went through this exact same argument and battle when i was working on
the Linux+ certification program for CompTIA, and guess what, bottom
line was that this is a linux certification, and we are not teaching nor
certifying individuals for windows' platforms, thats another realm
altogether. And if a linux professional HAPPENS to work in or be
involved in a cross-platform network/business or need to have a certain
level of expertise in windows, then its up to that individual to worry
about the windows portion of his particular needs. This is not an
all-encompassing certification, this is a linux certification.
