Hi,
I have just taken LPI 102 and now can claim to be LPIC1 or something, as I
took LPI 101 over 12 months ago.
I saw two questions that I thought were suspect:
One question had a spelling mistake in it:
... while its functioning. (from rough memory)
That is, it confuses the abbreviation for 'it is' with the possesive form
of it. This sort of mistake throws delegates off.
The second one seems more serious to me. It asked about the bash
customization files, and offered the followning five choices:
o bash and bashrc
o bashrc and bash_profile
o bash.conf and .bashrc
o bashrc and .bash_profile
o bash.conf and .bash_profile
I am very sure I have remembered the details correctly, and in my view,
none of them is correct. My choice would have been .bashrc and
.bash_profile, had it been among the list, and I searched high and low for
such an answer. I have also rechecked the bash man page for bash.conf and
it does not appear.
I am surprised to find a mistake like the second in the test.
I passed, BTW (630, which is not as good as I would have liked, but I do
not have a strong Debian background).
Regards
