I disagree with this. Though prior to the arrival of RH7 this was
certainly true it is no longer a fair criticism... and the change is even
more evident with RH7.1 in the field. In point of fact... the Seawolf list
spends quite a bit of time discussing how to "undo" some of the more
restrictive things Red Hat now does by default. So much so that it is
humorous to me... the Hatters simply cannot win... for years people
bitched because of the insecure state RH machines were in immediately
after install... so Red Hat listens and does something about it and now
people are bitching about the "undocumented changes" (usually said when
they haven't read the first README or install note)... :-)
I say TOUGH... let 'em learn how to properly admin a box! :-)
