Slashdot is reporting that Linux related jobs on Dice.com have risen 190% in the past year. Most of these are going to be sysadmin job if my experience with Dice is any indication. Is now the time to make a push to remind people just how valuable a thing a performance based certification can be? Is LPI looking into any sort of campaign? Then again the economy has just slowed a bit again....

How can we get out the word that certification is valuable to both employers and employees (and not just a MCSE paperwork shuffle)?

How can we reach sysadmin managers to convince them that contributing to LPI will make certifications with us of even more use to them?

How can I make money at this and evangelize Linux full time? (Sorry that one just slipped in ;)

BTW, is there anyone out there except Matt and Kara????
