While both Fedora and Ubuntu are still using Upstart now,
they are both using it in quite legacy modes in general.
Even Fedora has compatibility scripts for using it's existing approaches.

I agree that the Objectives should add a section on Upstart.
It's adoption seems inevitable, as Red Hat decided to follow Canonical
on this one. Red Hat had no less than 3 replacements itself,
under development for years, but finally a decision was made
to go with what one other distro decided to ship. Especially
Since Upstart offers full backward compatibility, which
was a major criteria for any system Red Hat wanted to adopt.

But I don't think it's time to add questions, as there are
larger LSB considerations.

LPI should stick with LSB as much as possible.

In this case, until maintainers start adding init scripts for Upstart,
it's legacy compatibility and LSB compatibility should be the focus.
As native Upstart scripts are added, then we should start talking
about adding Upstart to the exam itself.

But I don't see legacy SysV init being dropped, at least not for a decade.
