How universal is /proc/config* on various distros. Debian and Ubuntu don't seem to enable it in their default kernels. SUSE does. I don't have easy access to any RH boxes right now, though. Also, all three of Debian, Ubuntu and SUSE supply a /boot/config-`uname -r` file with their kernel packages. That seems to be a more consistent place to look for this information. Can anyone confirm any of this for RH or other distros out there that I haven't mentioned? I think we should save these changes for the next addendum. Thanks, Thomas.
