I will repeat: I am ASTOUNDED at the cleverness of many of the
readers of this list.

See below.

Yes. See the ifhp options 'pagecount_start' and 'pagecount_end',
which are designed expressly for this purpose.

a) You NEVER kick a printer. You leave fingerprints (well, toe
prints) on it. You might want to hit it with a large blunt
object, and then wipe the fingerprints off the blunt object.
Gasoline and a funeral pyre are also nice on cold winter nights.
We used to accept donations to the La Jolla Fish Reef at the
end of La Jolla pier, but they discovered that toner and the
fusers are environmental hazards, so we don't deep 200 feet them
    any more.

b) Get the foot examined by a Real Doctor ASAP.

Long Story:

About 2 years ago I decided to cut down a large tree in the back
of our yard. Actually, Monica decided that I would cut down the
tree, and threatened to toss the comfy chair, with me in it, unless
it was done. I spent about 1 hour starting a chain saw, and my arm
started to hurt. A lot. I am talking major pain here.

So I turned on the Hot Tub (this is California), and took a nice
HOT soak for about 15 minutes.

In that 15 minutes the pain went away, and then as soon as I got
out, it started again. By midnight I was unable to move the arm,
it was swollen, and I was losing sensation in my fingers. Being
the stupid person I am, I took 8 motrin, some VERY powerful
steroids, and 1 (one) small pink pill.

In spite of the pink pill, I woke up 5 hours later in REAL pain.
I spent about 20 minutes calling Kaiser Health Care, who switched
me through to my 'personal care' physician, who called me a damn
fool (amazing diagnostic talent, that man), and who sent me
immediately to a Sports Injury Specialist.

The Sports Injury Specialists immediate comment after touching my
arm and then pulling me down from the ceiling where I was screaming
in pain was 'Did you play Tennis?', as this was the most common
cause of the muscle rip that I had. When I told him about the
chain saw, he nodded and said 'Yep. Staring outboard motors does
this as well.'

Apparently I had ripped a muscle, but the rip was inside a sheath of
connective tissue. This muscle was DIRECTLY over the nerves running
down the arm to the hand and wrist. When the muscle started to swell,
it put pressure on the nerves which stopped transmitting the
little neural pulses, and my hand went dead.

He quietly said that there was a small but signifcant chance that
permanent nerve damage could result.

Of course, putting the arm in HOT water caused the muscle to swell
even more.

And increased the chances of permanent damage.

I spent the next week with a cold pack on my arm, taking drugs that
definately shortened my life, and waited for sensation to return to
my hand and wrist. Even now, after 2 years, my left hand is still
not as dextrous as it used to be and my typing speed is about half of
what it used to be.

See a REAL DOCTOR ASAP!!!
