Patrick, any hints where in lpd.perms I have to set the permissions
to invoke lpc commands for a remote user to manipulate the
queues(i.e. stop, lprm, and so on) via net interface of lpinfo?
Cheers
Dietmar

I'll be the first to admit it's not the easiest thing to install - sorry ...

YES ... but the .html frames are pretty simply ... plus you should be able
to simply symlink to the .html frames in the "top" level directory ... this
directory structure should be shown on the tarball.

Ummmmmm ... I'm guessing this is when you are doing lpc commands
to remote queues. Remember that we installed lpinfo years ago and
have done very little to it ... so how we got things working is
sometimes cloaked in mystery! ;-)

My guess would be you need to tweek lpd.perms to allow remote lpc's.
Can you investigate/give that a shot?
