but how do I give a certain User (in that case, me) being logged in
at a different machine (itc windows)with a different user name , and
not as root, the permission to superwise and delete jobs, hold
queues etc?
There must be a way over lpd.perms to grant me that rights, nay?

These two lines:
ACCEPT SERVICE=C REMOTEUSER=root
ACCEPT SERVICE=M REMOTEUSER=root
should allow remote root users (these parts of lpinfo are run setUID;
with "reasonable" precautions to prevent abuse) to lpc/lprm queues.
Probably appropriate to restrict to just those hosts running the
lpinfo interface. You can test this by simply issueing lpc/lprm
from the command line (as root) and seeing if it works ... since
that is all lpinfo does! ;-)
