Hi Thomas,

Yes, that's basically what I had to do.  So, now while it prints, the LPRng
software has no status or control information on the printer.  I was hoping
that with its 2 trays, I could use the printer as both a paper and
transparency foil printer.  But it appears that the HP2500CM is a
problematic printer.  I've given up on it.
