Brian,
This is a problem with the LPD support on your jetdirect card. If
you'll reconfigure the printer to use direct port 9100 printing, you
won't have the problem. See the micro-FAQ in the micro-HOWTO that
you used to install the enhanced printing system from
hp.sourceforge.net.
Other feedback would be greatly appreciated. You can submit
enhancement requests and bugs directly to the gnulpr project on
sourceforge.
