Hi, I've changed our spoolsystem on a Solaris-Host from PLPD to LPRng. After that, our printer which are connect via Microsofts LPD to the network doesn't work. After debugging LPRng and analyse tcpdump-output, I suggest, the host sends data correctly to the NT-LPD. But the printer, plug at the serial port, doesn't get any data.
LPRng use the following printcap-entry: lprname:lp=printername_on_nt@ip_adress_of_nt :sd=/var/spool/lprng/%P :mx#0 :sh Can anybody help me ?
