Well, now this case is solved.
First: lpd WAS running, ports were open and lpd.perms-entry "ACCEPT
SERVICE=R FORWARD" wasn't usefull. That thing with p1 and pt1 was a
cut-and-paste mistake, not on client/server only in the mail.

The problem was the lprng-installation itself. I've tried local print
with the client (pt5) and I got this "unable to print" message again. In
fact, the client wasn't a productional machine yet, I re-installed the
total system, by the way updated to SuSE 8.2, and guess what happened?
Sure, everything was fine. Afterwards I experienced that old client pt5
had a Cups-Installation some time ago. Cups has been replaced with
lprng, a thing I didn't knew. Think that this caused problems on the
system ...

That means: My client/server installation is working fine, thank you for
your tips! I'm really sorry, that the problem was a bad installation,
could have check this before posting :(
