I have a SMB printer Laserjet4 on my home network. It prints jobs fine from Windows boxes and other Linux Debian testing boxes. I see it as a Samba share from this Linux machine, and the printcap file is the same as on working machines. Why does it fail to print? lpq reports the job removed immediately.
