using ifhp 3.5.11, hp4100.

1. the print job got printed with very light font( sorta like out of toner ) with
economy mode
on,but it's fine if i turn it off. what could be the cause of it?

2. the print jobs are sent to the print server from a samba server(AIX 4.3).
once there is error (quota etc), i would like to send winPopup message to
the user. however the host that LPRng got always is the samba server host name.
is there a way that i can pass the real host from samba server to the print server?

3. i read in the doc that it may cause problem if i enable the done_jobs. from the doc:

" One of the problems that might occur is when the LPRng done_jobs feature is enabled.
This causes
that status of the last few jobs to be retained so that users can see what happened to
their jobs.
the done job will have its status displayed by the lpq command. However, this may
confuse Samba,
and it may report odd or unusual status for your jobs. "

in my case the sambe server barely send jobs to the remote print server, do i need to
worry about
this if i want to have done_jobs = 10 ?

thanks,

Qiang
