Hi all, <warning> I have no idea of how IPP nor CUPS work. You may consider may as a total newbie when it comes about those stuff. So maybe my questions are stupid. In this case, please just direct me to good and up to date documentations. </warning>
I have an lprng server serving all my labs printers to some of our team hosts. A CUPS server has been installed to control a lot of those printers. I can not remove my LPRng server. So my question is simple : Is there a way that I may change my printcap so that I may be able to forward job to a CUPS controled printer ? Does something like `lp=|lpr -Pipp://cupshost/printer' in printcap work ? Is there (or will there be any ?) any cleaner way ?
