[aside: I'm just nitpicking and not adding value to the original thread. Ignoring me here is just fine :) ] I hate this comment. Disk is cheap considered in isolation, but there's a considerable cost if you run out of what you already have - getting new kit, taking things down and migrating or reprovisioning. Sure it can be mitigated with some foresight - making sure you have expansion slots + using logical volumes so you can grow without moving everything around. e.g. I have an old RPi2 loaded up with Raspbian in a semi-embedded situation where neither of those are true (only the one SD slot) - it pretty much runs forever and I like that.
