The one immediate thing I'd like to see is some more descriptive
names for the middleware packages - das and dps just don't trigger
much in my brain...
this is an artifact of time when our names were driven by what we
wanted to see in python packages--short, sweet names. I'm happy to
expand these to be more descriptive. Do you have any objection to
sub-dividing middleware packages below these directories, rather than
having them up with the other packages?
