Jim,

It has taken a while but I have tried the newer kernel and it works with
the rtl8139. Auto detect of the network card works, so no options 128 or
129 are required in dhcpd.conf.

This m/b has an i810 chipset and even though I put in the MODULE_01 =
agpgart.o line it didn't load the module. It looks like the path specified
in the rc.local is wrong. If I manually put the agpgart.o module where the
rc.local is looking (/lib/modules/2.4.9-ltsp/) then it loads ok. For those
using the i810 the other line required in the lts.conf is X4_DRIVER = i810,
just in case you didn't know the module name.

I've also tried the RC_FILE_01 to load a thing called portserver to give us
access to the serial port. That works well.

I was also trying to change the mouse resolution without success. From
reading the rc.setupx it looks as though you read the mouse resolution but
it doesn't get written out anywhere. (I could easily be wrong as I'm not a
programmer!) Any thoughts on that?

Otherwise it all looks good.

Regards,
Brian.
