Hi !
I had the same problem yesterday
because I used Etherboot 4.6
with Etherboot 5.0.5 it worked !
I'm experimenting with LTSP since summer 2000
and I thought that it would never be necessary
to update Etherboot, because it means
-opening all PCs
-take the EPROM out
-erase the EPROMs
-programm the EPROMS
-put the EPROMs back in
-make a test-boot
-close the PCs
I will not do it! I will continue to use Kernel Version 2.2
for the Clients and just update XFree from 3.x to 4.x
because of the better TrueType support.
what are the advantages of having Kernel 2.4 on the Client ?

where does this message come from ?
