After the last message I decided to try the test tftp program and
this is what came out of it:
$ [/etc] mkdir tftptest
$ [/etc]# cd tftptest
$ /etc/tftptest tftp
tftp> connect norman3
tftp> get /etc/dhcpd.conf
Transfer timed out.
tftp> quit
$ [/etc/tftptest] cat dhcpd.conf
$ [/etc/tftptest] ls -l dhcpd.conf
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 Apr 5 22:21 dhcpd.conf
$ [/etc/tftptest]
so it seems something is still wrong with the tftp-server.
Any more ideas?
