Well, I'm about to rollout a NEW company with LTSP; there are a lot of places that are still on Wyse 60 trerminals on SCO boxes. My bit will be to offer "workplaces" at $50/month, and all tech support is free, so long as I don't have to drive in. But the trick is, unlike Windows drek, I can almost take care of the thing completely from home. I could probably support 20 or more of these clusters this way. A lot of places are interested in this kinda solution; not hiring an on-site computer person saves a lot of cash. I could say more about the project, but I have my eye on a nationwide rollout...and it's not completely finalized just yet. :) As things progress, I'll be reporting on my findings... ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Brian Fahrländer Linux Zealot, Conservative, and Technomad Evansville, IN My Voyage: http://www.CounterMoon.com ICQ 5119262 AOL: WheelDweller Yahoo: WheelDweller Me: http://www.kamakiriad.com/aboutme.html ------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________________________ Don't miss the 2002 Sprint PCS Application Developer's Conference August 25-28 in Las Vegas -- http://devcon.sprintpcs.com/adp/index.cfm _____________________________________________________________________ Ltsp-discuss mailing list.
