Only if you use 3Com's own "bootware", which is what they do out of the box. I wouldn't recommend using this unless e.g. it's physically not possible to configure all the NICs in a large cluster. Even so one could boot a imggened kernel with an initrd containing cromutil to flash EB into all the nics. For some reason 3Com regard imggen as proprietary, and won't tell anyone what the format is, though I'm sure it's not rocket science. It occurs to me that it should be possible to "imggen" Etherboot. Anyone tried, maybe with a LILO image? Anyway, flash Etherboot if you can, or use Ctrl-Alt-B and select the PXE boot method if you can't. Use imggen if you are desperate. ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Gadgets, caffeine, t-shirts, fun stuff. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _____________________________________________________________________ Ltsp-discuss mailing list.
