Well, it takes so little running imggen against the kernel, that can be fed
to a number of workstations, why shoul one bother flashing all the 3coms' ROMs?

I was told PXE is a proprietary technology as well.

Why? I'm using it with no problems at all, why should I switch to PXE?
What would the advantages be?
