[Ltsp-discuss] Maintaining a hosts file on LTSP server

Is maintaining a host file for your workstations on the LTSP server required? We do not seem to have a problem with NFS permissions even thought the hosts file does not contain an entry for workstations. But the XDM does not start up until and entry is added. How can we avoid having to do this for each workstation?   Here are the messages that the log is reporting   Kdm[1508] server open failed for 10.13.81.114, giving up Kdm[1331] Display 10.13.81.114:0 cannot be opened Kdm[1331] cannot convert Internet address 10.13.81.114 to hostname   Thanks   Abdallah A.
