service xfs status says it's running. I do service xfs restart --> OK. netstat -an | grep 7100 is still empty. if I launch xfs -port 7100 -daemon then netstat shows me the server running. Well, this is no big trouble and I'll take time to find out. The emergency was to let icewm work, and it does. Now, if I put my ear on the server (near CPU and Ram), I can hear it whispering : "I'm happy........" :-)))) Thank you all.
