Dan,
  I have implemented a timed session system in my Highland Park install and it has 
been running without a hitch for several months now. I'm not sure what you mean by 
"reserved sessions," could you clarify?

  I'd be glad to share my scripts with you but be aware they are still in development 
and not in a "for the public" format - i.e. no documentation and some pretty ugly 
coding - but you are welcome to them.
