This should also eliminate KDE problems. The solution has been rewritten in
Perl.

Again, any feedback/bug reports through me.

Cheers

Chris

OK, a public beta of the rewrite is now up at

http://www.fensystems.co.uk/RPMS.fensys/equanimity-1.2-1fs.noarch.rpm
http://www.fensystems.co.uk/SRPMS.fensys/equanimity-1.2-1fs.src.rpm

Instructions: Install package, change last line of /etc/inittab for the
*clients* to read "/usr/bin/X-balanced" instead of "/etc/X11/prefdm".
This will give you a system in which all servers have equal weighting;
if
you want to adjust the weighting you will need to follow the more
detailed
instructions.

Known issues:
1) If no default gateway is set up for the client then X-balanced will
   fail with a "Network is unreachable" message.

Note: Since all X Consortium / Open Group code and derived code has been
removed, the licence is now completely GPL.
