Okay .. the setup is basically as follows: Server: Celeron 700MHz 256MB RAM 10G HDD
Clients: (x 6) 486 (I think DX2-66�s) 8MB RAM <- will upgrade if need to .. Small HDD (probably sub 250M) The questions then: a) What Windowmanager would be best to run ?? (I would love to run KDE but I don�t think it is an option) b) Could I get away with a 10M/Bit Network ?? c) What application suite could I use (OpenOffice ?? ) d) What would be the best way to boot the client .. tftp or local ?? e) Could I put additional services on (eg: fax/print/internet gateway) ??
