I have setup the LTSP server on a RH 7.3 box and followed through the Installation and Configuration guide. Services for DHCP, NFS, and TFTP start normally and I see thier ports bound in a netstat check. I created an Etherboot boot disk for the clients' network cards (eepro100) and booting off of the floppy it successfuly detects the card and begins to go through DHCP request etc with the server. After the initial message of where it is trying to contact DHCP, it shows one dot of progress and stops. I see through tcpdump on the server the initial DHCP request (0.0.0.0 -> 255.255.255.255) and the server reply (10.0.0.9 -> 255.255.255.255) with the accompanying IP address for the host and his MAC address; after this, all communication halts between the hosts.
I'm sure there are details I've left out, so please ask for what would help. AFAIK I have a proper configuration.. :)
TIA,
