didn't transfer up to me. Check that a user "nobody" exists in
/etc/passwd and that his group exists too.

For me, ltsp went stright-away. What distro do you use?

How did the kernel "not" load? Could it - wild guess - be a firewall issue? No
idea about that automounter stuff btw.
