Ok, I seem to be getting somewhere!!! Thanks so much for the help so far, based on your last message I decided to copy the boot.b file from my testdrive system not the one from the ltsp image. No version conflict and lilo ran fine. Now the unit boots but I'm having network connect problems. The usb port senses the nic and loads the drivers, but the usb nic doesn't detect a link. I'm going to try another adapter just to make sure this one isn't the problem. Thanks again to you and the others that have been so helpful
