Yes Linux can "handle" all the goodies inside. What I question is the price you're paying !!!
We've been running a Compaq Prolient dual cpu for 4-5 month but I find the performance a bit flacky (might be the mileage on the machine *lol* )
Linux has an option in the kernal "SMP" specific for dual processor machines, so have fun but "ouch" the price is high for that box
