(hej, I finally found a usage for my cyrillic keyboard! :-)

In your dhcpd.conf (on the server), you must specify
option option-129 "NIC=ne IO=0x300";
and exchange 0x300 for the *real* ioport of your nic.
Probably you need a statement like
option option-129 code 129 = string;
too.
This is used by the LTSP initial ramdisk to load the driver module for
the NIC, because autodetection on ISA would be a bad idea ;-)
