I install ltsp and put to work using a 10mbit hub and actually all works ok, trying to increment speed in network I just buy a 16 port HUB-Switch, with 8k mac memory and 4MB buffer memory.( a cheap switch 80U$s dollar here in Argentina)
BUt the speed is lower now than the basic 8 port hub !! when the workstation pick up the kernel from tftpboot it sims to pick them in rush of 1 second ( the dots in the screen advance in rush) . I try previously conecting the server to one workstation both with 10/100 rtl8139 card networks using a cross cable and its works at high speed. anybody knows whats happening here ?
