I shut the server (RedHat8) down at the end of the school's summer term. When I tried to start it again last Friday, the PSU had died. Dell came out and fixed that yesterday but now non of the LTSP work stations will boot. error message at end of email.
This type of thing has happened to us several times now and it is holding us back from making serious use of LTSP. I have no idea what the problem is or how to even start to fix it. Our primary system (based on NT4) although a pain with viruses, seems far far less prone to just die without an obvious cause. In fact the NT4 has never died in 5 years the LTSP server dies every couple of months. Can anyone suggest what I can do to fix the problem or should I do the only thing I know how ie. rebuild the entire server? Cheers, Bob. Error as follows... Mounting Swap files Directory.
