I'm currently setting up a Citrix server environment with LTSP clients. We have 3 remote sites connected over 2Mbit to our central site. In the central site I'm installing a test citrix server. I would like one of the remote sites to connect to this citrix server. I'm thinking of reusing old PC's, remove hard disks and other unnecessary stuff. I prepared a strong PC to be the LTSP server (Pentium 4, 1 GB RAM) which I would place in the remote site. I have to connect about 15 clients. Now what is the best way to handle this in my case?
Try to install the ICA client as a local application in LTSP4? Execute the ICA client on the server? Is there a possibility to avoid having an LTSP4 server in the remote site? Will the hardware be enough for this? Anyone with experience in the citrix/LTSP field? (Citrix is running on Win2003)
Thanks,
Andy.
