I've done this with Windows 2003 with terminal services, not citrix; your milage may vary. There are several ways to do this. Although it sounds complicated, I've gotten good results running rdesktop inside VNC on a linux PC that's on the same LAN as the Windows server. On my desktop, in X, I open xterm and ssh to the linux PC at the main office and run vncviewer. ssh can be configured to compress its data stream; this makes a big difference. Running rdesktop on my desktop worked, but the response time was disappointing. Since you're running Citrix, I would recommend you experiment with different combinations until you find the one that works best for you. -- David Johnston <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Little Bald Consulting, LLC ------------------------------------------------------- The SF.Net email is sponsored by EclipseCon 2004 Premiere Conference on Open Tools Development and Integration See the breadth of Eclipse activity.
