As far as I can see from the configuration files, Local Apps are enabled
and all the necessary libraries and binaries have been copied to the
appropriate directories. Yet it continues to give errors when trying to
connect to the X-server.

First thing to do is tell us what those errors are.

Then, we can begin to help you.

Right...

The errors are:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] brs]$ ssh ws001 env DISPLAY=:0.0 /usr/share/MozillaFirebird/MozillaFirebird

Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified

Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display: :0.0

Which then takes me back to the command promt, when I try to do the same without the "env" options, it gives the following:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] brs]$ ssh ws001 /usr/share/MozillaFirebird/MozillaFirebird

Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] brs]$

As far as I can see, all the necessary libraries and scripts have been copied to the correct locations.

I've probably neglected something blindingly obvious, but it eludes me, any assistance you can give will be greatly appreciated.

Regards

Bryn
