Les,
you are right, JetDirect *effectively* accepts just one connection
at a time. The standard is published and the way jobs are accepted is a
part of it. JetDirect listens on the selected port (default 9100) and when
the connection gets established, it refuses any connections from other IPs
until there was at least 1 second of idle time. This interval is
considered to signify the end of a job. The acceptance of the first job
does not require any idle time.
