Just trying to understand future events or architecture or something like that. When LTSP is migrated to kernel 2.6, assuming that it's going to, will it support ALSA sound as is, or am I off base on assuming that esd and ALSA are occupying the same space?

I'm in no rush for any of this, with current support of 2.6 kernels flagging on some device support I can see a long delay..

I would love to have sound on my LTSP terminals, but I'm in no rush for buggy LTSP. This thing (LTSP) runs way too well to mess with it. Being able to set it up and forget about it is pretty nice.
