Hi all,
(I apologize if this is off-topic for "ltsp-discuss". I googled for
"ltsp-devel" but did not find such a list.)
Questions:
1. What is the current state of ltspfs-method and forthcoming LTSP-4.2?
2. I'm willing to test cvs-versions and report how they work. Any
instructions for that?
The whole story:
As I'm planning to increase the amount of terminals in the office from
3 to abt 8 in the near future I decided to preview ltspfs method in my
test machine (Fedora Core 4 with two ethernet-cards).
First I tried to use ltspfs-method for local_drives in ltsp-4.1.
Did a fresh install of ltsp-4.1 and followed the instruction at:
http://wiki.ltsp.org/twiki/bin/view/Ltsp/
LtspFS#Installing_FUSE_on_Fedora_Core
Terminal (IBM GL300 w 64MB) boots up nicely,
Typing
ltspfs ltsp001.ltsp:/tmp/drives $HOME/foo
gives no error, but after popping in a memory stick, ls -al shows
nothing.
Next I decided to compile "LTSP_just_before_4_2".
Downloaded "LTSP_just_before_4_2"-lbe from cvs and typed ./build_all as
root.
That halts to an error:
